What is bus?
Busbar refers to the product made of copper and aluminum materials with high conductivity, which is used to transmit electric energy and has the function of collecting and distributing electric power. The total conductor used for power transmission in power plant or substation. Through it, the electric energy output by generators, transformers or rectifiers is transmitted to various users or other substations.
Bus refers to the connection of voltage distribution devices at all levels in the substation, as well as the connection of electrical equipment such as transformers and corresponding distribution devices. Most of them use rectangular or circular cross-section bare conductors or stranded wires, which are collectively referred to as bus. The function of bus is to collect, distribute and transmit electric energy.
In the power system, the bus connects all current-carrying branch circuits in the power distribution device and plays the role of collecting, distributing and transmitting electric energy. Busbars are roughly divided into the following three categories according to their appearance and structure: hard bus. Including rectangular bus, channel bus, tubular bus, etc. Flexible bus. Including aluminum stranded wire, copper stranded wire, steel-cored aluminum stranded wire, expanded hollow conductor, etc. Enclosed bus. Including common box bus, split phase bus, etc.
What is bus duct?
Generally speaking, the bus duct is a long iron box for placing cables. The cover is covered from the top to enclose the distribution cables (the cables for power supply are not necessarily copper bars, and the copper bars are not allowed to be closed). Because the bus is often very long, the iron box is actually connected by many sections. The joint end of each section of the iron box should be connected with flexible wire (usually soft copper tape). Finally, a good grounding should be made at the end to ensure that the leakage will not harm the human body.
To be explained in professional terms, the bus duct is a safe and reliable transmission equipment to meet the need of huge electric energy and hundreds of thousands of amperes of strong current in modern high-rise buildings and large workshops. Compared with the traditional cable, the bus duct fully reflects its advantages in the high current transmission. At the same time, the bus duct has adopted new technology and new process, which greatly reduces the contact resistance and temperature rise at the connection of both ends and the junction of the junction, and uses high-quality insulating materials in the bus duct, thus improving the safety and reliability of the bus duct and making the whole system more perfect.
The bus duct is characterized by series matching, commercial production, small volume, large capacity, short design and construction period, convenient installation and disassembly, non-combustion, safety and reliability, and long service life.
